Our website’s mission is to engage, educate, inform, and effectively organize members and potential members through a focused, consistent, well-defined method and medium, while implementing an effective means of communication and access to information between existing or potential Carpenters, Millwrights, contractors, trade organizations and councils.
Our underlying commitment will be to recapture market share, and to improve the wages, working conditions and quality of life for all Carpenters and their families.
As well as promoting and protecting the interests of our Union and its members, we will attempt to identify and elevate the moral, intellectual and social conditions of all working men and women.

IMPORTANT UPDATE TO DETROIT CARPENTERS’ PENSION PLAN
As you may have heard, the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters and Millwrights has had to make adjustments to secure and stabilize the Detroit carpenters’ pension fund, which has been negatively affected by Michigan’s long recession. The following is an announcement by Mike Jackson, MRCC executive secretary treasurer, about this important issue. These adjustments affect only the Detroit carpenters’ pension plan.
